Carter Met with Terror Leader? (UPDATE: Confirmed)
UPDATE 6/11/2009 10:24 AM: Confirmed, Jimmay did in fact meet with the leader of the terrorist group which has killed more Americans than any other next to al Qaeda.

That's what Debbie Schlussel is reporting. Here's the gist of it:
U.S. President Jimmy Carter--who previously met with and feted top HAMAS officials--just met with Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah, the spiritual leader of Hezbollah. Carter's son, James, accompanied him, and the meeting took place in Beirut.Hizbollah, it should be noted, holds second place in the coveted "Killed the most American infidels" race.
Now, is the report to be believed? I don't see it in the MSM, but maybe Carter was trying to keep this one quiet? Perhaps yet another case in point where Carter is under the impression that his charisma could somehow bring peace to a conflict started over a thousand years ago by Muhammad on the Arabian Peninsula?
Her source, though, is Arab. And while it is anti-Hizbollah .... did I mention it's Arab? If you've ever been to the Middle East or paid attention to the Arab media, you know what I'm talking about.
So, it sounds like it could be true. If it is, it's yet one more despicable act in a lifetime filled with despicable acts by Jimmy Carter [always in the name of peace and the greater good, of course].
