David Carradine Dies (UPDATE: Apparent Suicide)

Oh no! Not Grasshopper!

Via CNN:(CNN) -- American actor David Carradine has been found dead in a Bangkok, Thailand, hotel, according to his personal manager, Chuck Binder.

Carradine, who became famous in the 1970s when he starred in the television series "Kung Fu," was 72.

I'll be honest, I was like five and I had to watch Kung Fu every week. Afterward I'd spend days Hiyaahhh! Hiyaaaaahhh-ing everything in sight. Drove everyone nuts. Ahh, those were the days.

Who knew it was already written that Grasshopper would be found dead in a Bankok hotel? Its so fitting. There must have been foul play. I immediately suspected Chuck Norris. Cause the history between those two? You know it wasn't going to end till one or the other was dead.

But everyone knows its impossible to kill Chuck Norris.

Thanks for all the memories Grasshopper.

Update: apparently it was suicide, he hanged himself. Terrible.

BANGKOK Actor David Carradine, star of the 1970s TV series "Kung Fu" who also had a wide-ranging career in the movies, has been found dead in the Thai capital, Bangkok. A news report said he was found hanged in his hotel room and was believed to have committed suicide....

...It said a preliminary police investigation found that he had hanged himself with a cord used with the room's curtains. It cited police as saying he had been dead at least 12 hours and there was no sign that he had been assaulted.

Ace seems to think it was "accidental" sort of, maybe, a little bit.
