Senator Schumer: U.S. Border Now Secure

Therefore, it's time for amnesty:

According to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), the borders are now safe enough to take a step forward. "We can pass strong, fair, practical and effective immigration reform this year," he said following a hearing on border security Wednesday.
Interestingly, at the same time Schumer says the border is secure, we get news that the FBI has issued a warning about Mexican drug cartels doing their training in Texas.

In all candor, every time I hear an idea from Sen. Schumer, I have the instinctive urge to check the locks on the doors and put a death grip on my wallet.
