Algeria Hits al Qaeda, Potatoes Hardest Hit

Is Ace writing for Reuters these days? Because my headline isn't that far off of the one Reuters used:

Crackdown on al Qaeda hits Algeria's potato crop
News story imitates parody imitates news story.

The gist of the story being that since AQIM uses a lot of fertilizer bombs the Algerian government has imposed strict controls leading to a price increase which, in turn, means less fertilizer used on the potato crop.

Also, less ammonium nitrate based bombs.

Heartache.

Let them go organic and eat arugula!
