Video: Taliban Whip 17 Yr. Old Girl
Here's the grainy 3gp video being sent from phone to phone throughout Southeast Asia showing sharia law at its finest. In it Taliban enforcers in Pakistan's Swat valley, which has just made peace with the Islamists and instituted sharia law, are seen beating a young girl.
Her crime? I've read two versions of it: either she was caught leaving a man's house without a chaperon or she's been accused of fornication.
Good thing she wasn't married and caught in the act in which case the punishment would be stoning to death.
The caption accompanying the video at Liveleak says her screams are translated as, “Please! Enough! Enough!” and, “I am repenting, my father is repenting what I have done, my grandmother is repenting what I have done...”.
The man holding beating her says, “You should hold her tightly so she doesn’t move.”
Here's a great idea: let's make peace with these people!
As one commenter noted, "flogging girls and f***ing goats. They got it all backwards!"
It's a good thing they don't have any oil, or else our President might have to bow down to their leader. As it is, we are free to be act horrified and mildly self-rightous given that it's our national policy to kill them wherever we find them. Meanwhile the Saudis give us oil in exchange for the money used to pay the Promotion of Virtue and Vice goons doling out the same kind of punishment -- and worse.
Islamists: You can't live with them, you can't nuke them into oblivion.
