US Navy deploys warships off of Japan ahead of North Korean Missile Launch

Looks like the US Navy is preparing to shoot down North Korea's satellite ballistic missile. Japan already has two Aegis-equipped destroyers on stand-by and it appears South Korea will also deploy an Aegis-equipped destroyer.

Japan has declared that it would shoot down any threatening object falling toward its territory. General Walter Sharp, commander of U.S. Forces in Korea stated that the US military is ready to shoot down any North Korean missile "if the President so directs".

Any bets on who will shoot North Korea's missile down? My money is on the Japanese. Click here to watch a video of what the Japanese will do next week.
