Really? That's news to me. Oh, don't give me that Revolutionary War revisionist history. The French didn't get involved until the very end, and only when it was clear the colonists were winning. And also only to further consolidate their holdings in the New World. Apparently this person has never heard of a little thing called the Quasi War. Google it!
Caveat: God bless the French troops serving with NATO in Afghanistan, this post isn't aimed at them. But France has always been a great ally? Bitch, please.
