NZ National Detained In Pakistan

A New Zealand man is being detained in Pakistan, in an area regarded as a Taliban and Al Qaeda stronghold.

Mark Taylor, 35, was arrested at a paramilitary checkpoint on the outskirts of Tank, in north-west Pakistan, not far from the Afghan border.

It is believed Mr Taylor told soldiers he was heading to South Waziristan to get married.

Waziristan is a tribal area known as a safe haven for Taliban and Al Qaeda extremists. Mr Taylor was wearing Pakistani clothing and was carrying a New Zealand passport.

*No problem, doesn't everyone want to go to the Pakistan/Afghanistan border and get married? The tour books are full of lovely weddings at the terrorists camps. Your wedding pictures are taken with the best cameramen jihad media has to offer. Don't delay, book your wedding today.
