New al Qaeda Video: Zawahiri Says America is Evil or Something

Fresh on the heels of several reports saying that al Qaeda has been virtually decimated comes a new as-Sahab produced video featuring none other than Osama bin Laden's right hand man, Ayman al-Zawahiri. Remember the day before inauguration when all the reports were that Bush had been distracted by Iraq? Oh how one Messiah with a (D) next to his name and no change in policy can affect reporting!

The video was not released with English subtitles, but I'm pretty sure it says something about America is evil, Obama is still evil, and the Juice are really really evil. Or something like that. Where's that traitor Adam Gadahn when you need him, eh?

The video is called "Gaza Sacrifices And The Plots Of The Enemy" and it features images of Saudi King Abduallah and other Arab leaders, so I'm pretty sure it's a denouncement of the Arab world for not coming to Hamas' rescue and aid them in their efforts at a Jew free Palestine. I've posted a frame from it above and the banner that announced it at the forums.

It's really just an audio of Zawahiri over a number of still images and stock footage from al Qaeda's archives. I'm dying to hear what he has to say. No, not really. I really don't give a flying crap what Zawahiri has to say anymore. I just want him dead.

As for the reports of al Qaeda's imminent demise, we've had some discussion here, internally, as to what this means. One of the little mentioned aspects of this report is that al Qaeda may be moving its base of operation from Afghanistan to Somalia and the Horn of Africa.

It's amazing that we've already forgotten that we nearly defeated al Qaeda defeated in Afghanistan-Pakistan once already, only to have them move their locus of power to Iraq -- where they have been completely annihilated. And then they moved back into Pakistan where the reemerged, only to have been driven nearly to the brink of extinction once again.

But the Horn of Africa -- Eritrea, Somalia, and the nearby Yeman -- that is where the action will be in the next few years. Mark. My. Words.

UPDATE: MSM picks up courtesy of Rita Katz. According to ABC, al Qaeda is "nervous about Obama's popularity in the Arab world." See, the Ones very existence sends and existential chill up Zawahiri's spine!

We received your deep concern accompanied with thousands of rockets and bullets, and tons white phosphorus, mixed with the blood, body parts, and tears of the Muslims in Gaza," Zawahiri sarcastically says in an audio speech on the video, according to the SITE Intelligence Group.

Zawahiri continues: "But the deep concern of Obama did not hold for long, for during his inauguration speech, he did not mention one word about what happened in Gaza, as if nothing happened." ...

"We will never stop until we avenge the death of all who are killed, injured, widowed and orphaned in Palestine and throughout the Islamic world," said Zawahiri. In that video, entitled "The Massacre in Gaza and the Siege of the Traitors," Zawahiri referred directly to then-President elect Obama, saying he had partnered with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, whom Zawahiri labels as a traitor to Islam.

"What you are facing today is just occupation and settlement that is limited to one area or one country, but is part of a series in the Crusaders war against Islam," said Zawahiri. "These air strikes are a gift from Obama before he takes office, and from Hosni Mubarak, the traitor who is the primary partner in your siege and murder."
