Communists Celebrate Christmas, Dress as Santa
(Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) Vietnamese from the coast to the highlands are celebrating Christmas this week with communist government leadership notably supporting and participating in the gift-giving and well-wishing.
Astonishingly, communist leaders are even dressing up as Santa Claus and giving gifts to children.
Central Committee Section Head Ha Thi Khiet, Party Secretary Pham Quang Nghi, People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen The Thao, People’s Council Chairman Ngo Thi Doan, a delegation from the Ministry of Public Security and others were active throughout the country bearing gifts and wishing people a healthy and happy Christmas.
The reported extent of the celebration of the birth of Christ is surprising given that the latest census identifies the population of Vietnam as less than 10 percent Christian, mostly Catholic. Then, adding to the surprise, throw in the fact that the nation is run by customarily un-Christian commies. Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and others are surely spinning in their final resting places.
"Merry Christmas, Vietnam!"
