George W. Bush Pardons 19; Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean Not on the List

WASHINGTON – Before leaving for the holidays, President Bush on Tuesday commuted the prison sentence of a drug offender and granted 19 pardons, including one to a man who helped the Jewish resistance in the 1940s.

With this latest batch, which includes forgiveness for convictions ranging from gun and drug violations to bank and mail fraud, Bush has granted a total of 191 pardons and nine commutations. That's fewer than half as many as Presidents Clinton or Reagan issued during their two terms.

While two good border patrol agents spent another Christmas in prison, Bush has the audacity to pardon this guy:
John Allen Aregood of Riviera, Texas. Conspiracy to harbor and transport illegal aliens.
I know there are quite a few W fans reading this blog, but if George W. Bush is such a "good man" and a "great President," how do you reconcile your opinion with the fact that he has two good men locked in prison for 12 years because they (arguably) failed to follow regulations?
