Hardly. Note in an another interview of al-shabaab also from al-Jazeera, being run by Muscab at one of his blogs al-Shabaab warns that the west is their next target and their goal is to establish a global Caliphate. The idea of starting a global Caliphate from Somalia is a bit far fetched, but they believe it so that makes it very dangerous.
Wherever the Islamic Terrorists gain control, expect persecution of Christians Jews and many other groups as the very same Islamists talk about the "religion of peace and tolerance" and "protected groups" out of the other side of their mouths.
Remember the Taliban destroying the Buddah in Afghanistan once they had control of the country. Well now that the African Taliban is feeling confident, they have started their own purge and persecutions.
