UN Pulls Head Out of Asses, Declares Jamaat ud Dawa Terrorist Organization
We've been harping on the fact that Lashkar-e-Taiba's [LeT] "charity" and "political" wing --Jamaat ud Dawa [JuD]-- operates freely in Pakistan for some time now. Every one knows that JuD is just a front for the LeT terrorists, but only a few countries were willing to condemn the JuD which claims its main mission is charity work for Muslims in Kashmir.
One can only deny reality for so long, though. Especially after nearly 200 dead in Mumbai at the hands of LeT trained terrorists who were given operational direction from leaders of the JuD. Today the U.N finally declared JuD a front for the LeT and named several of its leaders as the terrorists that they are.
The ball is now clearly in Pakistan's court. Keep your fingers crossed, but don't get your hopes up too high.
