$166 Million Gap in Obama Campaign Donation Credibility?

This should raise a few eyebrows, assuming it's credible. A team of PUMAs has been digging through Obama's campaign contributions via FEC information, and they've found some, er, interesting money laundering accounting.

Some of the donors are very creative and amusing. A rich person in Kansas listed his occupation as Philan Therapist. A professor emeritus at Northwestern University can’t spell the name of his university.

But one big error stands out. The Team looked carefully at “Contributions to Barack Obama by State Through 10/15/2008” at the FEC’s website. The FEC summary lists Individual Contributions of $579 million from all 50 states combined, but the individual state totals available came to only $413 million. Where is that missing $166 million dollars?

Why it's HEY LOOK OVER HERE! A SHINY THING! HOPE! CHANGE!

More here.

Very eeeenteresting.
