Slaughter in Mumbai: Will American Liberals Heed the Warnings?

When Prime Minister Manmohan Singh assumed power in India in 2004, one of the first steps his administration implemented was to weaken the anti-terrorism laws on the books. Singh's concern was that innocent Muslims were being victimized by government discrimination.

Since then, India has been hit by a series of terrorist attacks, culminating with the crisis in Mumbai which cost five Americans their lives[...]

Will Obama, Pelosi, and Reid duplicate the errors in judgment made by the Singh administration in India, leading to tragedy in America?

I certainly hope not but who the hell knows.

Update on Mumbai confirmed foreigner deaths here I will give Americans:

- Americans Rabbi Gavriel Noach Holtzberg, 29, and Rabbi Leibish Teitlebaum were found dead at the Mumbai Chabad Lubavitch center, also known as Nariman House. Holtzberg ran the center with his Israeli wife, Rivkah, 28, who was also killed.

Bentzion Chroman, another victim at Nariman House, was a dual U.S.-Israeli citizen. Americans Alan Scherr, 58, and his daughter Naomi, 13, were killed at the Oberoi hotel cafe. One other unidentified American was killed.
