NYC: Anti-Prop 8 Protest
Photos of protest outside LDS Church in New York.
This protester is not feeling hopey, changey love.
A different take on the spelling "Latter Day Saints"

Wonder if they will go to Chicago next and protest outside of Rev Wrights church.
Update: The marxist group Indymedia was at this protest as a show of solidarity with LGBT. One of their members explain why they are not protesting the African-American community:
One of the ugliest stories coming out of the passage of discrimination in CA, is that the African-American community is responsible. That is a lie!I say they are chicken shite. The poll being cited is a totally unscientific exit poll conducted by CNN. The precincts with high percentages of Black voters mostly voted against Prop. 8.
This is an ugly attempt to pit white lgbt people against African-Americans. I hope it is address at the rally on Sat.
David in comments linked to this.
The people I spoke with had the following concerns:* Proposition 8 would force their churches to either perform gay marriage ceremonies or risk a lawsuit or losing their tax exempt status.
* Gay marriage would be taught in schools
* The religous definition of the term "marriage" as being between man and a woman.
* Some had very strong religious views. They are not the same thing as hating gay people or believing that gay people don't deserve equal rights. People were worried that gay marriage would hurt the things they care about.
Give it a listen if you so choose. I still think the LGBT are hurting their cause by joining with the marxist/anarchist groups.
