Ten Iraqi Terrorist Groups Sign Their Death Warrants
Gee, the AP is full of good news now that The One has been elected.
BAGHDAD – Ten Iraqi insurgent groups have agreed to escalate attacks against U.S. and Iraqi forces to derail the proposed U.S.-Iraqi security agreement, an Internet monitoring service said Tuesday. The declaration against "the agreement of disgrace" was announced Nov. 4 in an audio speech by Sheik Abu Wael, a top leader of the Sunni militant Ansar al-Sunnah, who invited other insurgent groups to join, the SITE Intelligence Group said.
Interesting that this agreement was signed on election day. Maybe they should have waited for....inauguration day instead.
Five groups seem to be a tad bit smarter, and will probably live longer, than their short-sighted brethren:
In his speech, the sheik invited over 15 factions to join. Most of them posted statements accepting the invitation, SITE said.
This is just a personal opinion, but I don't think Bush is going to let Obama lose this war. Expect a firestorm of war, pestilence and death upon our enemies prior to his leaving office.
