(Update)Gunmen Threaten to Kill French Hostages

Has Cameroon become alQaeda's bitch? Although this article says gunmen - I read either alQaeda or their arm al-Shabaab (the youth).
Gunmen in speedboats have seized ten mostly French crew members in an attack on an oil vessel off Cameroon.A spokeswoman for oil services firm Bourbon said the kidnapped workers were among 15 employees on board the vessel Bourbon Sagitta when it was attacked early on Friday
Will the fwench cry for help from us? They like to bash us so. (Per comments I stand corrected.) Never the less, I hope these hostages are released unharmed.
Update - Niger Delta Defence and Security Council, NDDSC, has claimed responsibility.
"I personally led the attack during which we seized 10 men whom we are holding as I am talking to you now," Colonel Ebi Dari, a Niger Delta Defence and Security Council commander, told Reuters in Cameroon by phone.NDDSC change of heart? NDDSC will hold hostages indefinitely, but not kill them."If the Cameroon government does not respond to our requests in three days' time, we will start killing them one by one," Dari said. He said the attack was carried out jointly with another group called the Bakassi Freedom Fighters.
