Daily Kos : "Joe the Racist Plumber"
Having encountered an actual blue-collar member of the proletariat, the white-collar bourgeois Kossacks recoil in horror at what they see:
Finally we heard the talk of real Americans! Too bad that talk ended up being more racist drivel...Someone needs to explain to the communists that the proletariat they claim to care so much about is made up of actual workers, most of whom share a whole lot more with Joe the Plumber than they do with the bronze statues they saw on vacation in Stalingrad.This again comes down to racial identity. McCain can be trusted; Obama cannot. The white man can be trusted, even when his words and deeds show otherwise; the black man is clearly a Manchurian Candidate waiting to ambush this country and its poor plumbers. Joe the Plumber may not want to think this way; he may not even realize that he thinks this way. Nonetheless, Joe has chosen to believe the white man and suspect the black man without any verifying evidence of real worth. That, my actual friends, is called racism.
And therefore, for all the nicknames we can find for Joe Wurzelbacher, the only one I truly prefer is "Joe the Racist Plumber."
And then there's this champion of the common man:
"Joe the Plumber" liar or idiot?...More commie love for Joe:[M]aybe I shouldn't be calling [Joe the Plumber] a liar, maybe he is just an idiot, a useful idiot for McCain. But I'm tired of the stupidity and the fact that the stupidity is encouraged by the TM. And while JtP may be too stupid to realize he is lying the reporters aren't that stupid.
So while this started as a little rant against JtP it really is a rant against the TM. No wonder the U.S. has been an idiocracy the last eight years. When the JtPs voices are given the same weight as the real experts what else can we expect. Thank god for the blogosphere and DailyKos.
Joe the Plumber is a fraud. He is not a Joe the Plumber, but rather Joe the Shill.
