No, Idiot, "I quit" Does Not Equal "Fatwa"

Poor Christopher Buckley, now he has a fatwa against him for endorsing Obama.

Damn those ChristoFascists at NR, damn them all to Hell.

Fatwa? Is that how you spell it?

As if the fact that the son of one of the greatest wordsmiths in our modern times can't even spell "fatwa" correctly, he manages to insult Ronald Reagan:

So, to paraphrase a real conservative, Ronald Reagan: I haven’t left the Republican Party. It left me.

Yeah, I'm sure if he were alive, Ronald Reagan would be voting for Obama.

Let's get back to that "fatwah" [sic] from the Conservative movement:

Within hours of my endorsement appearing in The Daily Beast it became clear that National Review had a serious problem on its hands. So the next morning, I thought the only decent thing to do would be to offer to resign my column there.

You quit, dumbass. Nobody forced you out under pain of death. The Mullahs of Iran didn't issue a death sentence upon you because you wrote a shitty book. Despite the fact that you've written a shitty book. That should have earned you a fatwa.

Go ahead and vote for Obama, Christopher Buckley, because it's painfully apparent that your father was prescient for not naming you William F. Buckley III.
