I.C.E. Mothballs "Self-Deportation" Program

A sum total of EIGHT PEOPLE made use of it.

"Quite frankly, I think this proves the only method that works is enforcement," Jim Hayes, acting director of ICE's detention and removal operations, told The Associated Press on Thursday....

The I.C.E. spokesman (soon to be relieved of duty, no doubt) had harsh words for the "(illegal) immigrants' rights" crew:

"["Immigrant rights" advocates] want amnesty, they want open borders, and they want a more vulnerable America," Hayes said.
