RINOs to Rule the Stage at GOP Convention

The GOP has released the conventional schedule. Notorious RINO Rudy G. is the keynoter. In general, left-wing Republicans will be basking in the primetime spotlights while the conservatives are mostly off the stage:

Monday primetime (10-11pm Eastern Time)
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, R-Calif.
President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush...

Tuesday primetime (10-11pm Eastern Time)
Gov. Sarah Palin, R-Alaska
Fmr. Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark.
Fmr. Mayor Rudy Giuliani, R-New York City ***KEYNOTER*** ...

Wednesday primetime (10-11pm Eastern Time)
Cindy McCain
Vice Presidential nominee
Gov. Bobby Jindal, R-La., will speak after the VP nominee

It's good to see Palin and Jindal in prime time, but they are the two reformers in a sea of RINO. I see that notorious RINOs Sam Brownback (KS), Norm Coleman (MN), Mitt Romney and Mel Martinez (FL) are also prominently featured in the daytime lineup. I can understand the rationale for playing to swing states, but if that's the idea, why no presence from Ohio or Iowa? Where's John Kasich (OH)? Where's Chuck Grassley (IA) or Steve King (IA)?

In general, popular conservative figures are scarcely to be seen in the lineup. At least we get to hear from Fred! on Tuesday.

So, what message is this lineup intended to send to the American people? Vote Republican--we're a lot squishier than you think? Is that a winning message?
