Desperation Time for the Obama Campaign (UPDATE: McCain Camp Smacks Down)
Boy - a pre-convention email blast/IMPORTANT ACTION ALERT must have gone out somewhere sending orders for the O!bots to begin throwing any old stupid sh*t up against the wall and to see what sticks. Desperation and panic will do that to the a campaign.
We've got Lord Dumbass Harry Reid quoted as saying he "can't stand McCain." That's funny coming from somebody who the country can't stand, leading the lowest rated Congress in American history.
We've got the jackass Time Kaine saying that McCain can't count to seven. Funny, coming from the piehole of a moron who just two weeks ago said the Russians and Georgians were following Obama's calls for cease-fire. Yeah. How's Obama's decree working out these days over there, you idiot?
We've got O!bama swinging wildly at McCain for having the GALL to own seven properties (actually, it's his wife's $$). They had no problem with the massive inherited wealth of Terry Heinz Kerry and her gigilo JFKerry, but that's all in the past, man. They have no problem with Algore's energy-sucking mansions and houseboat. They've had no problem with John Edward's property being the most expensive residence in the state.
Not to mention that the wealthiest members of the Senate and the House are Democrats. Is comparing incomes and wealth a game Barry-O (a millionaire himself) wants to play?
Is this the best the surrogates of Captain Bullshit have? Is this their new "tougher, fighting nutroots-style" approach being rolled out (which bears a strange resemblance to the politics of old)?
If it is, they're in some serious trouble, and they know it.
UPDATE: Team McCain blows this idiocy out of the water. BRING IT ON, O!:
Does a guy who made more than $4 million last year, just got back from vacation on a private beach in Hawaii and bought his own million-dollar mansion with the help of a convicted felon really want to get into a debate about houses? Does a guy who worries about the price of arugula and thinks regular people “cling” to guns and religion in the face of economic hardship really want to have a debate about who’s in touch with regular Americans? The reality is that Barack Obama’s plans to raise taxes and opposition to producing more energy here at home as gas prices skyrocket show he’s completely out of touch with the concerns of average Americans. –McCain spokesman Brian Rogers
