Wanted: Ugly Women
(Mount Isa, Queensland, Australia) Mayor John Molony of this heavily-male, mining community has appealed for "ugly" women to come, live and find love in Mount Isa. Molony's exact words, reportedly, were:
"If there are five blokes to every girl, we should find out where there are beauty-disadvantaged women and ask them to proceed to Mount Isa."Molony also said that ugly women appeared happy with a five-to-one male-to-female ratio which is hardly surprising.
Needless to say, the women are outraged. (Story)
