Cross border missiles kill militants
AT least 10 militants were reported killed when four missiles fired from Afghanistan hit their hideouts in a Pakistani tribal area, officials said today.So who was the target of this installment of ZOTTING an Al Qaeda leader?The missiles struck two militant hideouts in Baghar village in the restive district of South Waziristan on Tuesday night, a senior security official said.
"At least 10 militants were killed in the strikes according to our initial reports,'' he said.
"There were reports about presence of Arab, Turkmen and local militants in the two hideouts, run by a local commander Zanjir Wazir,'' he added.

UPDATE: AFP is reporting the latest missile strike took place at a Islamist training camp with FOUR missile striking two houses within the camp.
Witnesses said the missile strike destroyed two houses close to each other and rescue workers were seen removing debris amid fears that more people could be trapped inside.This strike has the signs of a hit on a High Value Target.Local militants cordoned off the area and journalists were not allowed access to the site. Residents said the houses were part of a militant training camp.
UPDATE II: Reuters Nine dead pulled from the destroyed houses with reports now of aircraft flying overhead..
"This camp was run by Hizb-e-Islami and there were about 15 people including foreigners there at the time of the attack," he said referring to a militant faction allied with the Taliban.Militants sealed off the area and were not letting anyone approach, he said.
"They aren't even letting residents who live nearby go there but our information is that they have recovered nine bodies," he said.
Residents said aircraft had been flying over the area.
