U.S. Embassy Bombing Suspect Evades Kenyan Authorities Again

fazulabdullahmohammed.jpgToday is the tenth anniversary of the al-Qeada bombing of two US embassies in Africa. One of the prime suspects, Fazul Abdullah Mohammed, has managed to elude capture for ten years now. He narrowly escaped capture again this last Saturday.

Via IPP Media: Kenya security agents have alerted Tanzanian authorities over Al-Qaeda East Africa linkman and suspected master mind of the August 7, 1998 bombing of US Embassies in Dar es Salaam and Nairobi, Fazul Abdul Mohammed.

The notice issued yesterday came as Kenyan police widened the search for Al-Qaeda mastermind to Nairobi and Malindi towns.

Fazul escaped a security dragnet to arrest him in the Kenya coastal town of Malindi. The suspect arrived in Malindi from Somalia.

He is said to be having a kidney ailment. Anti-terrorist police stormed his hideout where they found two passports bearing his photographs but with two different names, and a laptop.

Also interesting is that Abdullah Mohammed has been bleaching his skin to appear more like an Arab.
But as questions linger, it has been disclosed that the Al-Qaeda operative keeps bleaching his skin and can pass either as an Arab or African.

His current bleach allows him to pass as an Arab, hence the involvement of experts to draw his most recent illustrations.
