AFP/RightOnline Summit Wrap-up

malkin.jpg

I'm back home from the Americans for Prosperity/RightOnline New Media Summit in Austin, Texas. What a great event! I have to take my hat off to all of the folks who worked to make the event such a success, including (but certainly not limited to) Peggy Venable, Kristin Jones, Eliza Vielma and Emily Zanotti. It was great to have the chance to meet and hang out with a whole bunch of folks I've only known online, including Erick Erickson, John Hawkins, Soren Dayton, David All, Ed Morissey and Sean Hackbarth. It was great, as always, to get to see Michelle again.

The reviews of the conference are rolling in--and they are generally glowing. I think I can pretty much concur with The Federalist:

I recently got the chance to attend the Americans for Prosperity and RightOnline's conference down in Austin. I think I can sum up the conference in 3 words:

IT. WAS. AMAZING.

Other bloggers weighing in include:

Laura Elizabeth Morales
Right Wing Sparkle
Maggie Thurber
Aaron Marks
North Shore Exponent
The Walker Report
If you missed this event, you missed a really great event.

If and when AFP and crew organize another one of these, I STRONGLY encourage you to attend. I've been to a lot of conferences, and this was one of the best.
