Madrid Train Bombing Suspects Freed
(Madrid, Spain) The Spanish Supreme Court overturned the convictions of three men in the Madrid Train Bombing case and affirmed the acquittal of a fourth.
Abdelilah El Fadual El Akil, Basel Ghalyoun and Mohamed Almallah Dabas were released from prison yesterday afternoon.
The acquittal of Rabei Osman El Sayed, known as "The Egyptian" and suspected to be a ringleader, was affirmed. The court contended that the prosecution had not proven its cases against the men.
