3 al Qaeda Fundraisers Arrested in ... Spain
Not surprisingly, the 3 men are connected to al Qaeda sympathizers in Britain:
Spanish police say they have broken up an al-Qaida-linked cell and arrested three people, including one person in the Basque town of Azkoitia.One step back in the Muslim reconquista of Andalusia, but how many steps forward?The Interior Ministry says the three men of Algerian origin are accused of fundraising for Islamic terrorist activities....
The statement says the arrests were made in collaboration with British authorities. It says these officials knew of the suspects because they had links with other suspected extremists in Britain.
