Belgian Woman Promotes Jihad from Home
I'm not as concerned with the NY Times coverage of Malika El Aroud as JWF is. I'm more concerned with the fact that despite being once convicted of inciting jihad through her now defunct website, that she's back at her home inciting jihad online once again. She makes no bones about the fact that she supports al Qaeda and encourages European Muslims to go to Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya, and Somalia to fight in the global jihad.
I think the point the NY Times authors were trying to make was that the cyber jihad is a well oiled machine being run by competent & sophisticated people. On this point they're right and it's good to know your enemy.
The disconnect is not the report, it's at the NY Times editorial desk where they continue to insist that while it's okay to kill a member of al Qaeda, it's not okay to censor them.
UPDATE: I'd be happy to take her on, but to be honest I'm not sure what website she hangs around these days. She writes in French. Which, you know, would make pwning her a double whammy.
