McCain-Kennedy "Comprehensive" Bill a "Top Agenda Item" for a McCain Administration
Yesterday, John McCain provided the nation with 'comprehensive' evidence that a McCain Administration will be teh 4wes0m3:
“Senator Kennedy and I tried very hard to get immigration reform, a comprehensive plan, through the Congress of the United States...[W]e must enact comprehensive immigration reform. We must make it a top agenda item if we don’t do it before, and we probably won’t, a little straight talk, as of January 2009.”I realize this attitude might hack some of you off. If so, you need to get it out of your system. You must vote for John McCain this November. If you don't, the revolving-door lobbyist/staffers in Washington D.C. might transition over to abolishing our national sovereignty under the "Democrat" brand instead of continuing to do so under the "Republican" label. That would mean that when the government allows control of our nation's ports to be taken over by foreign governments, it will be doing so in a "Democrat" way rather than a "Republican" way. When the government continues to look the other way when our immigration laws are blatantly violated, or hands control of our coastlines and oversight of our gun control laws over to United Nations bureaucrats, or throws border patrol agents in prison for doing their jobs, or orders state courts to set aside sentences based on the decisions of international tribunals, it will be a "Democrat" government doing all these things and getting all the credit.
Plus, kittens will die and Jesus will cry.
UPDATE: Jim Geraghty reports that Team McCain has told him to pay no attention to what the old man says.
