Canada "Hate Behind The Veil" Hate Crime?
The above cartoon appeared in the Chronicle Herald newspaper was drawn by Bruce MacKinnon and is supposed to reference the wife of one of the Toronto 18 Cheryfa MacAulay Jamal.
Jamal's husband, Qayyam Abdul Jamal was accused of plotting terrorists attacks in the Toronto Area June 2006.
In November 2006 he was released on 100,000 bail and charge of intent to cause explosions were dropped. Since then the '18' accused has now dwindled to 11. Hopes are it won't dwindle to -0-.

After her husbands stay Cheryfa threatened publicly to sue the Canadian government for millions. Now an Islamic center in Halifax has claimed that the cartoon is a hate crime.
"Achmed the Dead Terrorist" should add this line. Silence - I Suuuue You.
