British Jihadi's Martyrdom Video: Quran Commands Killing
Why does Umar Islam claim he wanted to blow up civilian airlines over the Atlantic in 2006? I'm quoting his own words here:
Allah (SWT) loves us to die and to kill in his path. And any one who tries to deny this better read their Quran and they will not be able to deny this.It's why I was so underwhelmed by Geert Wilders' Fitna: I've seen hundreds of similar videos and the jihadis themselves make the claim that they kill because the Quran commands it.

It kind of makes the whole the-Bible-has-violence-too equivocation argument rather moot, doesn't it? It seems to me that Saudi bloggers interested in refuting that Islam inspires violence could better spend their time and efforts convincing their co-religionists and compatriots of this proposition rather than calling Westerners 'racist' [whatever that means when applied to followers of a belief system] who make the same point.
And as I mentioned in my post about Schism earlier, Abu Islam isn't some lone nut: between March 29 and April 4th there were 33 attacks in the name of Islam killing 133 people
