Syria To Hold Nationwide Drill
Apparently Syria just couldn't stand being left out of Israels drills so they decided to do one of their own. Or, they just wanted publicity for a show of force.
Syria will soon hold a nationwide drill to prepare for natural disasters and other emergencies, the state-run SANA news agency reported Wednesday.The announcement came as Israel holds a 5-day military exercise which Syria has said it considers threatening.
SANA did not say whether the Syrian drill was related to the Israeli one, nor did it give a date for when the exercise would begin.
I wonder if Jimmy Carter will be included when he meets the Hamas leader in Syria.
