Somali 'Pirates' Sieze French Yacht

A French luxury tourist yacht, the Le Ponant, has been siezed by Somali 'pirates'.

Pirate. I do not think that word means what they think it means. For instance, the "Barbary Pirates" were not pirates as you and I traditionally know them. It would be better to think of them as privateers in the service of the ummah--the Islamic nation. Hence, these Islamist privateers generally preyed only upon non-Muslims. Personal gain is fine in the service of jihad.

Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja, the ambassador to Britain from Tripoli during the time of the so-called 'Barbary Pirates', explained to Thomas Jefferson and John Adams that:

It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise.
These 'pirates' would only stop attacking American vessels when the jizya--a tax on non-Muslims to acknowledge submission--was paid them.

Sound familiar?
