Arabs Helping Fight Taliban in Afghanistan
Cool beans. I guess. I hope. I dunno, something about them 'sharing Islam' as a way of connecting with locals kinda leaves me uneasy. But if the story is correct, they go into villages delivering aid and a message that the U.S. is here to bring peace, that it's the Taliban they should fear; if that's the case then I'm all for it. Maybe the best we can hope for in these countries is for them to be content oppressing their own people a tad bit less and leaving the rest of us alone?

Still, it is going to come as a surprise to most people that for the last five years, an Arab Muslim army has been operating here in Afghanistan, alongside the Americans as part of the coalition....
