Network Solutions Takes Down Geert Wilder's Fitna Website
Web hosting service Network Solutions has taken down the website for Geert Wilder's film Fitna.
A blogburst has been organized, and we need to complain to this company for caving in to the demands of Islamic extremists. Nowhere did this website commit any violation of Network Solution's TOS.
For those of you who wish to make some comparison between this and what we do to Islamist websites, don't bother. It isn't a federal crime to host a website for a movie deemed insulting to Islam, and Geert Wilders isn't listed by the State Department as a terrorist organization.
Michelle Malkin has much more.
Update: I changed the headline from "censors" to "takes down." Only the government can censor. Private companies can do as they wish, and we can complain to them.
