NYT Shareholders Revolt
It looks like changiness and hopitute are needed at the NYT, where shareholders are unhappy with Pinch's failed leadership, inability to adapt to bleeding readership and lower ad rates, shrinking returns, and overall crappy performance.
Of course, we've always maintained that the NYT is an objective, non-partisan media outlet that always plays it straight up the middle, and that they don't deserve this kind of shoddy PR that they so relish giving others.
They said that the "bold action" required to revive the company's stock price would need "fresh leadership in the Company's board room." Harbinger has said it wants the Times to sell off some businesses and move more aggressively to build up its main brand online.
Call Obama, NYT! He's got enough change to go around.
