Petition to Bring Back Flogging in UK
You just can't make this stuff up.
Petition the Prime Minster to bring back saturday morning public floggings.So far there has been only one signature, that of the creater. "Shaming into submission" wording makes one think of "Submission". It was a script from Ayaan Hirsi Ali that Dutch movie maker Theo van Gogh made into a short movie. He was murdered in the streets of Amsterdam because of it. For those of you unaware of Submission I have added Part I below the fold.Individuals who persistently commit acts of antisocial behaviour or petty crimes are simply out of control and instead of prision[sic] service I propose we bring back Saturday morning marketplace public floggings in the UK and shame them into submission.

Mr. Livingston I presume, must have a few screws loose to think UK would go back to the dark ages. They have enough trouble with Muslims living in the UK wanting dark age Sharia law.
Iran & other Sharia law upholders would become their best buds if this were to pass. Remember the flogging and throwing over a cliff of two Iranian youths convicted of rape? That is just one example of the barbaric practice of flogging.
