Barack Hussein Obama c. 1998 : "Ban the Sale or Transfer of all forms of Semi-Automatic Weapons"

Further to Howie's posts here and here, the more cynical among us will no doubt not be surprised to learn that State Senator Obama backed an outright ban on semi-automatic firearms and even greater restrictions in Illinois' gun laws.
