Christians Arrested in Moderate Muslim Country for Practicing Christianity (UPDATED)

An essential element of Christianity is is often referred to as "The Great Commission". The final command of Jesus to his followers was to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

So, when Muslims tell you that Islam allows Christians to practice their religion they a) don't understand Christianity b) don't understand Islam c) are lying.

To forbid Christians from preaching the gospel is to forbid them from practicing their religion.

How many countries with a Muslim majority allow Christians to openly practice this essential aspect of their religion? ONE.

That's right, only one Muslim country allows full freedom of religion. Can you name it? Take your best shot in the comments section.

ZTruth has this troubling report from that model of Muslim moderation, Jordan:

Eight people have been arrested in Jordan for propagating the Christian faith, according to a Saudi newspaper.

Jordanian security forces arrested eight people, mostly foreigners, after they were caught distributing missionary material to Bedouin families north and east of the Jordanian capital, Amman, the Saudi daily Al-Watan reported.

Thanks to CJ's link thingy.

UPDATE: And the winner is Republican Jen for Mali. Despite Big White Infidel's lack of incarceration, it is against the law to preach the gospel to Muslims in Indonesia.

But I'm going to have to say I'm not sure about Albania. So, maybe two.
