[The Senator's] long-standing, but little-noticed association with left-wing donors such as George Soros and Teresa Heinz Kerry is receiving new attention among Republican critics.

In 2001, [the Senator] founded the Alexandria, Va.-based Reform Institute as a vehicle to receive funding from George Soros' Open Society Institute and Teresa Heinz Kerry's Tides Foundation and several other prominent non-profit organizations.

[The Senator] used the institute to promote her political agenda and provide compensation to key campaign operatives between elections.

Arianna Huffington, syndicated columnist and creator of the HuffingtonPost.com, has served on the Reform Institute's advisory committee since the group's inception.

According to FrontPage Magazine, Teresa Heinz Kerry has provided more than $4 million to the Tides Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by anti-war activist Drummond Pike in 1976 with a history of funding causes such as abortion, homosexual-rights activism and open borders.

I gotta tell ya. After reading that, I think some you hardcore "stop her at any price" critics may have a point. I can see the rationale for keeping someone backed by George Soros far from the levers of power. George Soros definitely does not have the best interests of our country in mind. Anybody who is getting love from George Soros and Teresa Heinz-Kerry is almost guaranteed to be a bad actor, in my book.

UPDATE : Oh, wait--I'm sorry. I misread the article. My bad. I should've included a picture of Senator McCain! Turns out it's Senator McCain's group that's been getting the love from George Soros. My apologies for any confusion.
