Stupid & Disgusting al Qaeda Video of the Day: IED vs Civilian SUV
Disgusting or just stupid? How about both. This is an Islamic State in Iraq, the official face of al Qaeda in Iraq, video allegedly showing an IED blowing up an "American intelligence contractor's vehicle".
Problems?
a) The video ends before you see any damage, so it's not clear if the vehicle's occupants are even wounded. Stupid.
b) There's no indication this is anything other than an SUV belonging to an Iraqi civilian. What, all SUV's belong to "American intelligence contractors"? Right. No evidence whatsoever that the vehicle is anything but civilian. NONE. So, we have al Qaeda in Iraq boasting that they've blown up what appears to be an innocent civilian just motoring along the highway. Disgusting.
