25 al Qaeda Arrested in Turkey
Since Reliapundit e-mailed about it I'll have you click on over to his site to see the details. I'll just note one thing that he doesn't include in his post:
Three of the suspects, including a Russian national of Chechen origin, were detained in Istanbul. They are believed to have acted as couriers between Al Qaeda militants within Turkey and abroad, the report said.I love it when European lefties try to argue that the jihad in the Russian Caucuses is simply a nationalist struggle when their own propaganda over at Kavkaz Center constantly reminds us that what they are after is a Taliban-like state on the edge of Europe.
