The 26-year-old does not renounce his father, Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden, but in an interview with The Associated Press, he said there is a better way to defend Islam than militancy: Omar wants to be an "ambassador for peace" between Muslims and the West.
He's into the older women, wonder why he didn't woo St. Cindy of the Sacred Heart-Ache?
I personally think he's full of crap, but, the fact that he's doing this in public has got to give the old man headaches. Or make him spin in his grave, depending on your point of view.
Let's be serious for a moment, though. If this was actually genuine, this clown would be in hiding, and not trying to get his face on the news. This is Propaganda 101 stuff.
