Internet Jihadi Was Diplomat's Son
If you've been around the Jawa Report for any length of time, you know who Younis Tsouli is. Tsouli, better known as Irhabi 007, is responsible for al Qaeda's internet strategy. He pioneered the use of the internet to spread propaganda and bring in new recruits.
Yesterday we received a bit of good news on an otherwise dreary day: Younis Tsouli's jail sentence has been increased.
Contrast the Brits increasing an internet terrorist's sentence to the Belgian's releasing actual gun carrying terrorists. One of France Jr's finest legal minds thought that hating Americans for their unjust war for oil was a mitigating factor for becoming a terrorist. I. Kid. You. Not.
Lots of links on the Younes Tsouli story, but I'll direct you to Wretchard's post here.
The one other interesting factoid from the story is that Tsouli was in Britain because his father was a Moroccan diplomat.
UPDATE: Thanks to Charles for the link to this BBC show about Tsouli. Am I mistaken, or is that a super-sikret Zionist internet spy being interviewed?
