British Blogger to be Prosecuted for Criticizing Religion of Peace
I've linked to Lionheart in the past since he and I have a mutual friend, so I'm shocked to learn that he'll be arrested for "stirring up racial hatred."
It's stories like these that make me want to call it quits and withdraw from Europe altogether. If the Brits start prosecuting people for criticizing Islam and Muslim immigration patterns, then we've truly lost.
Wolf Howling has a lengthy post about the disturbing news. Thanks to Charles Johnson for the tip and who has a reminder about the importance of the 1st Amendment.
As to Charles' caveat about what Lionheart says on his blog, I've no idea. I've certainly never read anything that would indicate that Lionheart was a BNP supporter, but for all I know he could very well be. I know that our mutual friend is not what they would call "white" in Britain and that he's pro-Israel, so I'm not sure how the BNP plays into all of this.
Sorry if this is old news to some, but as you know, I've been out of the loop for the past few weeks and this is just too outrageous to not leave a thought on.
