Always the Bridesmaid...Jawa Report a Finalist for "Best Conservative Blog"
This is the fourth year we've made the final cut for the annual Weblog awards. I think if there was a category for "best Star Wars themed counter-jihad blog" we'd deserve to win. As it is, we're finalists for the "Best Conservative Blog" award.
As I've said for the past few years it's hard to make the case that we are, in fact, the best conservative blog of the year. I personally think that Ace of Spades HQ, The Belmont Club, & Michelle Malkin are better conservative blogs. And the rest of the nominees are at least equally good, if not better, than the Jawa Report.
But, as always, thank you to the many readers who nominated us for the award and to those on the committee for putting us on the finalist list. We at The Jawa Report are honored that you think so highly of this website. Thank you.
Oddly, even though we nominated Inshallahshaheed for the "Best LGBT Blog", the website didn't make the final cut. If Samir really wants to win the award, maybe he should post more pornographic gay home movies and fewer beheading videos?
UPDATE: Looks like we got bumped. I've no idea why or how, but now we're finalists in the "Best of the Top 250 Blogs" category. Odd.
