(UPDATE: PWNED) Texas, Canadian Companies Helping Palestinian Islamic Jihad

UPDATE 10/24/2007: In the spirit of bogger triumphalism today, I'm bumping this post as a sort of self-congratulatory message to all of you who helped. Both websites belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad are now down. Feel free to break open the champagne, pat yourself on the back, or throw a few bucks into the tip jar in the left column.

Two companies, one American and one Canadian, are doing business with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror organization. Both countries recognize the PIJ as a terrorist group.

Please help us shut off these terrorist propaganda outlets by notifying the North American businesses helping them at the contact information below. Remember that these internet companies probably are not aware that they are facilitating terrorist organizations. Also let them know that in addition to being immoral, doing business with the PIJ is illegal.

The first website, hosted in Ontario, Canada, belongs to the military wing of the PIJ's al Quds Brigade. It carries PIJ's official logo.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad is a "listed terrorist entity" under The Anti-Terrorism Act [see: http://www.ps-sp.gc.ca/prg/ns/le/cle-eng.aspx#pij32]. It is a criminal offence in Canada to knowingly participate in or contribute to, directly or indirectly, any activity of a terrorist group.

The second website, hosted in Texas, belongs to the political wing of PIJ's al Quds Brigade. It also carries the official logo of the PIJ.

In addition, the Texas hosted Saraya al Quds website also prominently displays an image of the wanted terrorist Ramadan Shallah, one of the founders of the PIJ. Shallah was listed as a 'Specially Designated Terrorist' under United States law on November 27, 1995 and was indicted in a 53-count indictment in the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, in 2003.
