Wanted Terrorist Has California Website + E-mail the head of Ansar al Islam! (Bumped/Sticky)

10/10/07 UPDATE: ***PWNED***

The website is now down. Thank you to Yahoo! for their quick response in taking down this website.
----------------

Nkrekar.JPGA man designated by the US State Department as a terrorist facilitator has a website hosted in the United States. His name is Najmuddin Faraj Ahmad, better known as Mullah Krekar, and he started Ansar al Islam.

Doing business with Mullah Krekar violates the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). Each IEEPA violation of carries a fine of up to $50,000.

So, which company is helping this wanted terrorist? Sunnvale California internet giant, Yahoo!

Ever wanted to e-mail a terrorist? As a bonus, here's your chance to e-mail the leader of Ansar al Islam--the group that brought Abu Musab al Zarqawi from al Qaeda headquarters in Afghanistan to his new home in Iraq.

You might want to wish him your condolences: Mullah Krekar is about to be deported from Norway:

The founder of Ansar al-Islam, a suspected Islamic terror group in Iraq, on Tuesday appealed to the Supreme Court to overturn an order to expel him from Norway as a threat to national security....

Krekar, born Najm al-Din Faraj Ahmad, founded the Ansar al-Islam group listed as a terrorist organization by the U.S. and others. The group is also suspected in suicide bombings of coalition forces in Iraq.

Krekar has said he no longer leads Ansar al-Islam, and denies links to Al-Qaida. The United Nations added him to a list of people believed associated with al-Qaida in December 2006.

Poor Mullah Krekar will be tried as a terrorist if returned to Iraq. How sad.

On December 7, 2006, Krekar's assets were frozen by the U.S. Treasury Department on suspicions of supporting and financing terrorist organizations including al-Qaeda:

As of spring 2005, a non-governmental organization founded by Krekar sent money to terrorist organizations and actively recruited European citizens into terrorist organizations. Branches of the NGO were, as of spring 2005, overtly and covertly gathering money and recruiting personnel for AS....

As of fall 2005, AS reportedly had established at least two sniper teams in Iraq; the founder of these teams claimed to be Krekar's representative in Iraq. Krekar also traveled regularly from Norway to the Iraqi Kurdish area. During one of his longer stays in northern Iraq, Krekar appears to have recruited and trained combatants....

Apart from the instances of direct facilitation of terrorist groups which form the basis for his designation, Krekar has exhorted others to violence and supplied religious justifications for murder. In a 2004 interview, Krekar supported holy war in Iraq and identified legitimate targets, stating "Not just the officers, but also the civilians who help the Americans. If anyone so much as fetches them a glass of water, he can be killed. ... Everyone is a target. If an aid organization gives the Americans as much as a glass of water, they will become a target."

An associate of Krekar's, Yassin M. Aref, was sentenced to 15 years in the United States for helping arrange the selling of a stinger missile

Krekar was kind enough to leave us his e-mail: nkrekar@yahoo.com

UPDATE: Thanks to sugiero, I find out that Mullah Krekar denies being linked to the website. The problem? The website is registered in his wife's name:

NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting) reports that mullah Krekar, born Najmuddin Faraj Ahmad, former leader of the Kurdish guerilla group Ansar al-Islam in Northern Iraq, runs several web sites from his Oslo apartment....

Despite Dorbeen.com being registered in his wife's name, Krekar told an Oslo court last month that he "in the name of God, did not know" who was behind the web site.

Islam: Religion of Telling the Truth ;-)

The website is registered to "Rokhosh Ahmad Fatah", living at Heimdalsgata 36 in Oslo, Norway.

Now, my Norwegian is a tad bit rusty, but this image shows Mullah Krekar with a woman. The caption on it says he's with is "kone Rokhosh".

For those of you on the short bus, kone would be his wife.
